On September 14, 2009, the Municipal Cabinet formally presented their resignations before the Medellin Mayor Alonso Salazar Jaramillo.

The Mayor of Medellin accepted the resignations of Secretary of Women, Rocio Pineda, Secretary of Health, Luz Maria Agudelo and Secretary of Government, Jesus Maria Ramirez.
